The Willow Marsh Farm Wedding Photography – Shaunna & Sam
Shaunna & Sam held their wedding day at The Willow Marsh Farm Wedding Venue. In fact, they were lucky enough to be the first ever civil ceremony at the barn since it opened!
Shaunna & Sam added their own personal touches to the barn, such as little tea cups for favours (which I know Shaunna trawled endless car boots to find!) and some beautiful flower displays from The Little Flower Shed.
Ice cream on your wedding day? Why not!
Despite the day starting with a downpour of rain (and I mean a downpour!) It actually turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. Shaunna and Sam said their ‘I dos’ in the barn with the sun beaming through the huge doors, then spent the afternoon outside with their family and friends, complete with a visit from a traditional ice cream van!
A little later on we took some time to walk around the lake, through the long grass and even ventured into the tall reeds, which made for some beautiful couple portraits.
Just Ben provided the entertainment for the evening, and before I left I was able to capture Shaunna & Sam having a quiet little moment to themselves in the eves of the barn.

‘You couldn’t have caught us in more of an ugly laugh and I love this – there is a back story as to why we were laughing so hard, and there is even a slight glimpse of this in the background of the photo, and makes me smile every time I look at it.. which is every day, as this photo has pride of place on my desk.’
