Carriage Hall Wedding Photography – Eleanor & Mark
I was delighted when Eleanor and Mark booked me for their Carriage Hall wedding photography.
The Carriage Hall is a luxury wedding venue in the heart of Nottinghamshire. The hall is a beautifully converted Victorian railway building which provides a wonderful space for people to hold their wedding ceremony and reception.
The Preparations
I spent the morning with Eleanor and the girls at the family home.
Eleanor wore a beautiful gown which was lovingly made by the very talented Lizzie at Elizabeth Malcolm. I should add it had pockets, who doesn’t love a gown with pockets!
On make-up was Sophie from The Bridal Artists, and the hair dresser was Louise from Vida Nova.
The Ceremony
It was a sunny autumnal day, and the light beamed through the big hall windows, making for a lovely atmospheric setting for the ceremony. Eleanor and Mark said their I do’s and then we ventured outside for confetti!
The Details
One of the great things about Carriage Hall is that you can be as detailed or minimal as you like with the wedding details.
Eleanor and Marks cake was created by Sweet Stuff Life, and the stand was hand crafted by Marks brother.
Polkadot florist created the bouquets, which were perfectly suited to the romantic colour scheme.
The Portraits
A little before sunset, we ventured out down the drive to get some pictures of Eleanor & Mark as newlyweds! The pathway is lined with trees, which makes a for some lovely pictures, particularly in the autumn.
Pre-Wedding Shoot
A few months before the wedding, Eleanor, Mark and I met in the heart of the Peak District for their pre-wedding shoot. These two seem to be lucky when it comes to that beautiful golden hour light. You can see more from their Peak District shoot here.
