Pumpkins, sparklers and beautiful blue shoes!
Hazel Gap wedding venue
I was thrilled to get the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Jen and Andy at Hazel Gap wedding venue in November.
Whilst I love weddings in any season, autumn brings warm colours and lovely soft light in the afternoons, which photographers love!
Jen and her bridal party hired out a woodland cabin for the preparations. Jen wore an elegant wedding gown that had a touch of sparkle, and I just have to mention her something blue; the shoes! Oh how I adored the shoes!
It was a chilly but sunny day, and Hazel Gap was just the most perfect venue for this autumn inspired wedding. Jen and Andy tied the knot in the candle lit barn, which was scattered with twinkly fairly lights, making it a wonderfully romantic setting for their ceremony.
Following the ceremony, Jen and Andy ventured out for some photographs in the venue grounds. We were blessed with a beautiful sunset, creating glorious little puddles of light in the nearby woodlands and fields. Despite wearing such wonderful shoes, Jen was up for a walk into the woods to take advantage of the beautiful setting, and I think the photographs we got made it all worth while (note – no shoes were harmed in the making of these images!).
To finish off the day, Jen and Andy had a sparkler send off, and I think they rocked it! Take a look for yourself…
